It appears that Mr Icelandic Blast has actually listened to you!
Today has been warmer than the last couple, and the weather forecast for the weekend has it that we might even see temperatures beginning with a 2. Dear Mr. Allwyn Entertainment Limited,
I have been buying your tickets for quite some time, now please be a gentleman and let me win!
Yours, S. Bond Esq.
Worth a try.
I hope the temperature stays in the low 20s. I've decided to do stuff next week that would benefit from some decent, but not too warm, weather.

It's definitely a bit warmer outside, but this house still feels like an igloo.

As predicted: Cold, passing showers, a bit of hail, wind gusts and sunny moments too.

Wendy lit the fire yesterday evening. Despite lots of sunshine, ot was getting quite chilly. Dry bright and sunny again. And likely to remain so for a good few days, according to my weather apps.

Shed painting in shirtsleeve order, very mild, but a bit chilly last night.

The run of lovely weather continues. Long may it do so. Forecasts are for a really lovely fall colour season this year - the range tends to vary according to the amount of rain we get and the temperatures across the summer, and the last two years have been a bit meh, so I hope it's beautiful again this year.

The weather around my way is absolutely fine. It is a bright sunny day with a temperature in the region of 20 °C. Yesterday was much the same, and we bicycled. That was quite enough exertion for one weekend and today we are being much lazier, but neither long trousers nor jumpers have been called for.
No such luck for the good folk of Manchester, though. It always looked foolish to arrange an England cricket match for Manchester in September. It looked even more foolish to arrange for this match to be one of very few which gets shown on "proper" television. Yes, of course it's pissing down.

Very grey and overcast, but such outdoor affairs as were necessary have been adequately handled, so if I remain indoors until bedtime, no one will be the worse for it.

I could not warm up this morning - with the main library heater going. (and I double checked that a) the boiler was on and b) that the library heating was on, but because it's vents in the ceiling, with the air coming down, due to the natural phenomenon of hot air rising, it takes awhile to take effect. Now if this was a day in June/July, winter, I'd be cold but wouldn't worry. But it's September and I'm tired of winter.

Bright and sunny. I think I got a bit of sunstroke on the way back from town earlier.

Just heard on the early news weather forecasts that more cold Antarctic blasts are set to continue for the next few days. I'm just tired of feeling like we're still in winter, constantly shivering which makes me look like a drug addict in my local area, and painful nerve twinges all over my body.
