It's just started pissing down! JJ's still outside. I hope he's found somewhere to shelter. He hadn't. Poor little sod was soaked when he came in. There was a trail of paw-print shaped puddles across the floor in the dining room.
It was chucking it down this morning. The local news site reported that several lanes of the M25 were closed due to flooding. Thankfully it's stopped now, but it still looks bloody awful out there.

A grey and overcast morning has turned into a sunny afternoon. Went to Brecon for an eye test, and as I climbed into the hills, I passed through a rain cloud. On the way back, I actually found it necessary to wear sunglasses. Very pleasantly warm right now.

At last a decent morning dawns, today will be nice but it won't last for long.

I was supposed to be finishing off the painting today, but the gutter downpipe outside my window as I type suggests otherwise...

Windy today but mild compared with the gales of a week ago. Some rain came through this afternoon, producing a couple of rainbows around sunset.

Grey, occasionally sunny, and the odd shower, sometimes heavy.

It's just grey. The sort of grey that saps everything from everything. I'd planned on taking a wander into town to run a few errands and buy a few odds and sods, but the grey has drained the will to do anything.

Cold again today with a bit of a wind, tomorrow is set to be 21 C (positively warm?) then colder with more rain later in the week. I'm impatient for spring.

As a cold change swept across Melbourne, outer suburbs and country towns got the works - thunder/lightning, heavy rain in the city, hail in some spots so heavy it looked like snow, and nothing where I live.
Threatening clouds but no rain.

Bright but cold.
Definitely jumper weather. I'll need to find my fleece before I head out later.

First 2 duvet sleep since about March. This may have been at least in part because of my developing chesty cough because of this dratted cold.

The threatened rain held off enough for me to do a bit more of the painting job, but sadly the paint ran out before phase 3 was done. I have been paid for what I have done, and will pick up the job next week (weather permitting) when the supplier gets more of the paint in stock.

Starting to get a little cooler, but still very acceptable and sunny. A few of the trees are starting to get their fall colours - I expect rather more of them round Efros's way already have.

If Irpingyon is the new name for Orpington, the rain is endemic.
It's not a place where I go all that often, but my limited experience suggests that Orpington may be the actual Place Where The Sun Does Not Shine.

It was fine and dry as I left for Hay on Wye. As soon as I parked up and walked off with my toolbox, it started raining. Did such work as I had to do, got back to the car, and left in fine weather. Drove through a light shower, which cleared as I neared home. Parked the car up the road (as near as I can get to WYEBODDA), whereupon it started p*ssing down........
I appear to have angered the rain gods in some way....

Largely sunny today at "work", but chilly. I never took my jacket in the "House" for the first time in ages. We had an amazing hail storm at around 3 o'clock but it was back to brilliant sunshine (and chilly) by the time we closed just after 4.

Cooler day predicted here, with a top of just 15 though no rain I think. Just cool as continual cold fronts pass over us.

Dear "Icelandic blast",
You have made your presence very much felt over the past few days, now please bugger off back northwards!

Well, quite! On Weds evening I found it necessary to don a cardigan, and yesterday I had a t-shirt under my shirt. My status as a ruffty-tuffty Yorkshire man is under threat!

Dear Antarctic blast,

Yours, Australia
Saturday is set to be cold and wet again.

It appears that Mr Icelandic Blast has actually listened to you!
Today has been warmer than the last couple, and the weather forecast for the weekend has it that we might even see temperatures beginning with a 2.
The nights are colder now, but one expects that in the middle of September.
