Overcast, windy and wet at 8.30 am. So dull that I have had to put on a light.

Dull and cloudy today, and slightly drizzly, but mercifully the temperature stayed around 69F and it actually felt very pleasant.

Same here. The sun threatened to appear this afternoon but the threats turned out to be empty.

Beautiful sunny day today, however due to change on the weekend with a cold front and rain, a top of only 12 C scheduled for both days, not what I am wanting for the Open House weekend.

Rather nice here. Hope it keeps it up for tomorrow as I'm stewarding for "Hamlet" at "work" in the evening. The last bit of stewarding there I did in August 2023 it started bucketing down during the interval of "The Importance of Being Earnest" and didn't stop until just after I'd got soaked using my torch to direct audience members to empty places on the buses back up to the car park!

A fine morning sans rain so I shall stop pussy-footing around and get on my way to the city for the Open House stuff. (at least one day/way sans rain will be ok)
There are only two places I want to visit today, one opens at 12 I think so I'll go to the other one first.

Chilly, breezy and raining today.
The cats have hardly moved from their respective snoozing spots. I don't blame them.

A reasonable day beckons, a few clouds about but no rain and neither too warm nor cold. My ideal weather.

Bit of sun, but mostly overcast. It's been very stuffy indoors, even with the windows open and a fan on.

A second beautiful late winter's day is starting - it's often called 'Indian summer'.
I shall make haste to the hardware/gardening store up the road for another bag of potting mix, with the next plan being to repot a neighbour's plant. Whether I actually do it today, however, remains to be seen.

It has been dry bright and sunny ally day. About 27/28. Just a hint of breeze, so I have mowed the lawn, as tomorrow is expected to be 33/34. Tomorrow I have part 2 of my root canal/tooth rebuild, whi h should be exciting. My dentist is Greek so probably quite used to performing in such conditions.

Another beautiful day beckons and once the cleaner has been at 10.30am, I shall travel down to the rose garden suburb (though unfortunately can't go to the garden for some work as the shed is closed up by 1pm and I can't take tools on the bus...)
Have an old style 'film' camera with some photos to still use up before December so I may as well take some nice ones of the beach etc.

Similar here, forecast reckons we'll hit the low 30s. Good job I haven't got anything I need to do today because I don't think I'll be leaving the spot in front of the fan.

30 on my car when I went to Wadhurst to the dentist for the extraction of tge remains of a tooth. It had broken about a week ago, and tge hope was to rebuild it. But the dentists says that was not viable, so out it has come. In November I go back for an impression, and then a plate to be put in with a few on the other side where several.molars are missing.
One good thing is that the humidity is low: I often find that to be the really draining factor other than simply the number of degrees on the gauge.
Dentist says to rest and take it easy the rest of the day. Ah well....

In the middle of a four day warmer streak (temperature set to hit 20 C) and there was a surprise shower at 5.45 am. Don't know if that was on the forecast but today has a bit more cloud around.

All good things must come to an end....after enjoying this warmer spell, it is set to turn colder again tomorrow with more rain, though it is described as 'showers', it is hard to know just where and when those showers will fall.

9:33 am and the thunder and lightning is loud and close. We had thunderstorms most of the night with ridiculously heavy downpours around 2 am. This latest batch is due to continue for a couple of hours and then some more later in the day. Finnie is not a happy chappie.

Currently we have thunder, lightning and pouring rain, and Woodsman is grumpy because he wanted to go and trim the hedges on a rental property today and had lined up one of our neighbourhood teenagers to go along and help him. Said teenager is off to college in nine days so he's hoping another chance occurs before then.

The day started bright and sunny with quite a breeze. I decided not to put my towel out on the line after my shower as it looked a bit ominous. When I returned home there was a very fine mizzle coming down which was so quiet that Wendy would not have noticed it on the windows. Now (2015 hrs) it is really quite dreich
