Positively summery right now, were WYEBODDA equipped as is chez tetsabb, I would be selling megawatts back to the national grid.

Here too, high today was 47F and this week it looks as if we don't get out of the 40s at all.

Glorious bright sunny autumn day. Did we all change our clocks? I managed to do the oven last night, but one of tge buttons on my 20-tear old watch seems to be permanently seized, so that will remain on BST, I think.

Summer time may be officially over, but someone forgot to tell the weather round here! As glorious a day as anyone could wish for.

At about 1045 our meter said we had imported 1.84 kW of electrickery. At about 1645 it still read 1.84, even though I had done another load of washing, and prepared béchamel sauce and the stuff to go in it. (I then made pastry and put together pasties to have later)

We have returned from the Canarian sunshine to find ... the complete absence of weather!
Even before it got dark it was not sunny, it is neither conspicuously warm nor conspicuously cold for the time of year, it has not rained, and there is practically no wind. Furthermore, we are told that it's been much the same all week. Has this in fact been as boring a week of weather as the south of England has ever seen?

It has certainly been a bit "meh" round these parts the last few days...

Pretty much! Very 'no weather' this morning -- grey and drab, with virtually no wind.

Here too, and for the next 7 days if the Met Office website is to be believed.

The paving in my back garden appears mildly damp (a shade or two darker than bone dry) but no other sign of inclemency...

A grey start, but it brightened up most pleasantly. The autumn colours on my way to and from Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells were most spectacular.

I'm glad you found something to enjoy. I saw this morning that the weather forecast said 11 C and mist all day. Unfortunately it was spot on. Quite rare to have the same temperature throughout the whole day.

Another grey day around here. A bit of mist first thing, but it soon dissipated. It was a bit chilly when I walked into town at about 1100 so I put my hoody on, but I had to take it off on the way home because it was a little warm.

Grey again. JJ was a bit damp when he came in earlier so there must've been some sort of precipitation but the ground didn't look wet.

Definite blue tinge to the grey today, so it might be getting a little brighter.

Thursday in Sydney Australia - disgustingly humid, temperature only 27 C but cloud cover saved it from being worse.

We have some actual SUNSHINE today! And the sky is even blue (or at least bluish) in patches!
This is the first time in weeks we've had anything brighter than a murky yellow-grey overcast. I don't generally get seasonal depression or anything, but it was starting to get me down.

Spoke too soon. By the time I went out, any trace of blue had gone, the distant hills to the east were shrouded in mist, and it was distinctly cold. Not the nice crisp chill of winter, but that vaguely damp chill that soaks into your bones. Bleurgh...

First wooly hat day when I went out, mid-morning. Wooly hat and hoody were removed on the way home an hour or so later.

It's actually been quite warm for the time of year - temps in the 70s the other day, and in the mid-50s today around here (though possibly a bit colder where Efros is).
