second person grants it, but there's a catch that ruins the wish from being enjoyed to the fullest

example, someone might wish for a new mcdonalds just down the road, but the catch is that it is never open

so my wish is that they could make a new lion king film (as i    n story, not remake)

Before doing the 'reveal' to the standard role-playing solution when someone wishes for three more wishes/infinite wishes etc. I would like to leave the problem open to posters for a while to see if any further entertaining solutions present themselves.

The presence of the Wish spell in D&D has made both seeking and granting wishes into something of an art form - a semantic arms race if you like!  Greedy or over-powered wishes can incur heavy penalties from DMs with a mean streak!  Even relatively reasonable wishes have been known to come at a heavy price... particularly when the wisher is not careful about their wording.
