It is now sorted....... I was trying to work out a pattern to this, because it was odd that the addresses were visible when all of the accounts were set up to hide. What was odd was that it was only recently that it came to light. I had checked the accounts until they could be checked no more and then it struck me, the only people that could see the addresses (or were talking about it at least) had one thing in common. The account that was discussing the matter was the testing account I set up - which was not a member of any group. Then it struck me, it was only people in the KWC group, so I added the testing account to that, and sure enough I could see the addresses. So I checked, then checked again and couldn't see anything, so I shut my laptop down and left it and then went back to see if I could see anything in the accounts again. Then I noticed it - The KWC group elevated the members to "staff" level - and who is set to be able to see the email addresses? You guessed it, only staff!!!! So apologies everyone - your email addresses have been visible to members of the KWC group - which is about half a dozen people or so. That has now been resolved. Knew I'd get there in the end - it was just weird that half way through the investigation Dix couldn't see the address, and that threw me a bit. All sorted now - can one of you drop into the KWC forum and post something just to make sure I didn't break that fixing this please

The KWC section still works for me, but I'm actually supposed to be "Staff".
Please could someone who isn't - so that's anyone other than me, barbados, Jenny, and Amanda - also have a go at posting a sentence in the KWC section.

A QOL request, would it be possible to place a second Prev/Next page control at the bottom of a page of posts rather than having to scroll back to the top. Secondly is it possible to make the number of posts per page a user selected number? Neither of these are deal breakers but they would be welcome tweaks to the interface.

I don't entirely understand efros's first query; on my screen at least the Prev/Next control remains at the top of the screen and doesn't scroll with the posts, so there is no need to scroll up when you get to the bottom.
The two things that I find most annoying are 1. The advertising banner at the top of the screen varies in size, so all the content underneath jumps up and down for a few seconds until the latest advert has opened. This means I often click in the wrong place, or else have a time-wasting wait until the banner settles down. 2. The 'Un-ready' button is rather small, and unless you click in exactly the right place you go to the first page in the thread rather than the first unread post. Is there any way of making it bigger?

The Prev/Next control also remains at the top left hand corner of my page even when I scroll down.

I dont know the answer to eiter of the questions asked, but I will take a look when I get the time. I’m in the middle of an automation project at the minute that is taking up quite a lot of my time, I would say it isn’t going to be this side of Christmas- but I will take a look when I get the opportunity

So it does!
I really can't be arsed to try and bring up a cached version of this page from a week or two ago, to see that whether this is a new thing or whather it's "always" been thus. But my feeling is that it's indeed new, and barbados would have said if it had been something that he had explicitly done. Perhaps the whole world wanted that same thing that efros did, and the providers have silently added this.

As to the other request... no biggie.

I’ve had a quick look at the obvious settings, and there seems to no user choice option. There might be something in a theme to allow it, but I don’t think it will be doable simply in the version we are running (which is the free one, hence the ads). I’ll revisit in the new year, and if a change of theme is required I’ll put it to a vote (conscious this is the oob theme so we might want to change regardless to something more QI)
