I walk, as often as possible, at least once every day. I'm kind of lucky to have been born a mesomorph; i.gyazo.com/a9d91432b30ad3eea9ea449686ca16b7.pngso I rarely have any trouble keeping weight off, and when I am working, it is usually physical labour so I stay in good shape. You can see from my picture what that shape is... As for my mental health, that may be a lost cause.....

I'm whatever kind of morph it is that gets fat very easily.
I have actually lost about fifteen pounds over the last three or four months though, mainly by counting calories though I do try to go swimming twice a week, and when I do I swim continuously for about forty minutes, alternating breaststroke and backstroke.
I eat fruit at some point every day, though not for breakfast because I rarely eat breakfast unless I'm up unusually early.

Walked the dog whilst Little Brother and Texan s-in-l were preparing for their re-enacting weekend away and, as usual, helped Little Brother to get their caravan off their front and hitched up. Something for a bit of exercise and feeling I'm being helpful. Since they headed off this morning I've been alone, but I kept myself busy chopping up a kilo of faller apples and converting the result to 4 jars of apple and ginger jam. Stopped me dwelling on not being well enough to do the re-enacting stuff myself any more. My uncle rang and confirmed they'd be coming down from Harrogate for the party weekend (my 70th and my aunt and uncle's 60th wedding anniversary) in late September. It was nice to have a quick chat with him as I haven't been in contact with him since Stoke s-in-l's 70th party in June. My greatest mental "lift" is from my 3 days a week volunteering with the National Trust. Something I pride myself on being pretty good at and it keeps me in touch with all sorts of people.

jenny . That would be an ectomorph, but you have never struck me as someone who struggled with their weight, always looked elegant if not willowy when we met! I suppose the whole "weight loss/gain" thing is a function of personal values. If someone feels "overweight", then they are, but then we are getting into EDs and that is a very complicated subject.

What did you do today to help your physical or your mental health Do you have a self- care rooteen Today, I listened to some of my favourite music, I played a few video games. I spent some time with my cats. I made myself a massive sandwich - and ate it!
Some days I have no problem getting out of bed and getting going, some days I get what I call the CBBs - Can't Be Bothered - so I spend the day doing not much. On the bad days, I consider myself "winning" if I wash my face and brish my teeth.
The only thing that I'd say is a routine is the daily dose of sertraline. I'd be scraping myself off the floor without it.

I have days like yesterday where a bad headache prevents me from doing much (hormonal based, am on something for it but my body's all over the place with it anyway and I can't take painkillers as they then set off my IBS)
To today where combined with nicer weather, I can do a whole heap of stuff. Including multiple trips to the shops as I don't drive, it takes two goes to get a lot of shopping home, and a trip to the hardware store.

Crissdee have I ever told you how much I love you? I think maybe you need to get your eyes tested though. In terms of BMI I just fall into the obese category, and even if I lost another twenty pounds, I would still be at the high end of the overweight category.
