So that you only display your phone number when it is needed and not all the time.

Fair enough, but it seems easier to me to just not park in a place where you might be in someone's way.....

While your reasoning is sound, these tend to be popular where available parking is severely limited wrt the number of cars seeking it.

What am I bid for the pushbike? Let's open the bidding at 50p. 20p? 10p? No, didn't think so.
As for the motorbike, at least wipe the seat clean before you photograph it to sell !

You'll probably be happy to know that she appeared in several series of the Discovery unReality show "Naked and Afraid".

During much of that video she was walking backwards. With that many sharp things lying around, I can't help feeling that is an unwise move.

The premise of the show on American TV is a bit stupid, afraid is fine but naked is going to be blurred to oblivion.

Channel 4 would do it so much better ...
I don't suppose that the Channel 4 show Naked Attraction has ever been repeated by or remade by an American network, but there is a marked absence of pixelation.

Yup body counts in movies in excess of the population of a small town are fine but human dangly bits, oh no can't have those.

I assume that most, if not all, of us here have seen the original "Planet of the Apes" film, and are completely familiar with the denouement at the end, and fully conversant of the meaning of it all. Well, on YT I have just encountered someone who apparently did not understand it.....
"I loved that at the end he found a damaged replica of the top of the Statue of Liberty. In the context of the script, this event was never explained."
Seriously? How can you not understand what was going on there? Especially with Charlton's cry of;
"Damn you all to hell!" (or something like that) at the end. How did they miss the point so completely?

When I see something egregiously stupid like this, my assumption is that the content creator is engagement farming - having hundreds of people calling you an idiot builds up your numbers just the same as approbatory comments do. There's an American tiktoker whose stuff I see occasionally whose entire shtik seems to be visiting places in Britain and mispronouncing the names in the most ridiculous way - same idea.

That young woman lives her life as Xyla Foxlin. She reminded me of Myleene Klass, although I may have to apologise to Ms Foxlin for that because she must be fifteen years younger than Ms Klass.
Foxlin is more or less her "real" surname - she is Jewish on one side and Chinese on the other, and her parents are thus Mr and Mrs Fox-Lin. She acknowledges that her parents did not call her Xyla. In fact, they called her Kayla Ray but soon decided that this was a bit "trailer". So they asked her if she fancied being called something different, and after a brief flirtation with Xena but discovering it had already been done, she came up with Xyla.
There's no reason why the name Xyla shouldn't exist, in any case. It would only be the Greek to the Latin-derived Sylvia.

Our old friend Temu is advertising a business suit on FB. A well cut, black, two piece suit of fairly conventional style, nothing wrong with that, is there? Except this one is made of PU leather, and yes, is looks exactly like you think it would look. i.gyazo.com/d7ef8a11280e83704d25718194953155.pngIs there any office, indeed is there ANYWHERE, where that would pass without comment? I have a pair of leather jeans for biking, but a leather suit? And not really a leather suit, a plastic suit that looks like leather...

A fairly tall woman could perhaps get away with it if she worked in something like advertising - although she'd spend half her life telling all the vegetarians in her office (for there are many) that it's actually plastic.
It would certainly attract negative comment if worn by a man in a bank, or a law office, or indeed a classroom.
